Meet Ed Maxwell
My name is Ed Maxwell and I am South West Area Sales Manager for Translift – I joined the company over 19 years ago.
In terms of industry experience, I have a Higher National Diploma (HND) qualification in Farm Mechanisation. Before working at Translift, I also had three years of experience working at Toyota Forklifts.
I would say working with Translift has taught me how to look ‘outside the box’. It’s not just about the Bendi Forklift, it’s how the machine can help you get the most efficiency from your operation.
The layout of a building and the process by which you run that operation is paramount and I pride myself on creating a comprehensive objective solution for our customers.
What I find most interesting about my role, and certainly what I enjoy the most, is visiting different warehouse applications, visualising laying out the warehouse, putting that into practice and ensuring the operation compliments our customers’ businesses.
When it comes to work, my personal values and goals are to ensure my customers are comfortable with their decisions and that we are creating a long-term relationship.
Outside the world of Translift I have numerous interests and hobbies. Running is definitely a passion of mine, as well as fast cars and bikes when I’m not helping on the family farm.
