We’re looking for Engineering Apprentices! Are you interested in an Engineering career? Do you live in or around the Redditch area? We have an excellent opportunity for three apprentices to join the Translift Bendi team.
A Bit About Us
Based in Redditch, West Midlands, we are a well-established Engineering company that specialises in the manufacture of Articulated and Narrow Aisle Forklift Trucks, as well as other warehousing equipment.
Successful Engineering Apprentices
Successful applicants will support the manufacture and reconditioning of Translift Forklift Trucks whilst gaining a multitude of skills along the way including…
- Using a lathe, miller, driller, grinder and saws
- Bench fitting
- Understanding all types of press tools
- Servicing of tooling
- Repairing tooling
- Manufacturing new tools
- Welding and fabrication
During the working week you’ll work 7:15am to 4:30pm Monday to Thursday and 7:30am to 11:30am Friday.
Successful candidates will have the opportunity to progress and develop their skills as they move on to full-time employment and future training opportunities.
Who We’re Looking For
We want reliable people who are passionate about Engineering and willing to commit to learning and completing this apprenticeship. We would also like people with good verbal and written communication skills, good maths skills and the ability to work independently or with other team members.

The successful Engineering Apprentices must understand this is a manual role and they will need to spend much of the day on their feet.
Through the apprenticeship you will need to travel to Walsall to complete training. You must drive, be comfortable on public transport or be able to get a lift for these training days.
